3 ‘militants’ arrested in Balochistan

QUETTA: The Frontier Constabulary arrested three alleged militants in search operations in Quetta, Kalat and Pishin areas of the province on Sunday.

A spokesman for FC said the teams launched the operation in several areas of the province and arrested three suspected militants.

“A suspect has been taken into custody from Killi Geo area of Quetta city who allegedly has relations with banned militant organisation, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi,” he said. He added that FC personnel launched a search operation in Kalat and arrested a suspected militant from a hotel on National Highway.

The official said FC also carried out an operation in Pishin where a suspect allegedly linked banned terrorist outfit Tehreek Taliban Pakistan.

The FC special investigation teams are interrogating the suspects.
