Sri Lankan Cricket Team likely to tour Pakistan

Dubai: The long and painful wait of International Cricket returns to Pakistan was expected to end soon as one of the international cricket team Sri Lanka willing to tour Pakistan in near future.

According to media reports, the Sri Lankan Cricket officials have confirmed that Sri Lankan Cricket team was likely to visit Pakistan in November and December the current year.

It stated that Sri Lankan Cricket Board has expressed willingness to send its Cricket Team to Pakistan after the improved law and order situation here in Pakistan.  Sri Lankan team will likely to play ODIs and Twenty20s against Pakistan team which would be staged only in Lahore.

It was worth mentioned here that since the terror attack on the Sri Lankan cricketers in Lahore on March 3, 2009, only Zimbabwe visited Pakistan in 2015 for a short limited-over series.
