Chief Justice of Pakistan summons Judicial Commission of Pakistan on November 28

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Anwar Zaheer Jamali has called a meeting of Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) on November 28.

The JCP will consider the appointment of 5 additional judges in Peshawar High Court (PHC). Chief Justice (CJ) PHC Justice Mazhar Alam Mian Khel has sent names of two judges and 3 lawyers to the JC. They are Muhammad Bashir, Muhammad Ayyub Marwat and 3 lawyers include Umer Farooq, Muzammal Khan and Mian Hussain.

JC will consider these names and recommend for their appointment as judges of high court.

The JCP will also consider the confirmation of two additional judges of the Islamabad High Court, Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani and Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb
