Annual scholarships of tribal students restored

PESHAWAR: The administration of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) has restored the annual political scholarships of the tribal students after strong agitation of the student’s organization.

The representatives of the students’ organizations on Saturday told Daily Times that the have been informed that the students belong to FATA region can receive their cheques regularly. FATA Students Organization Shaukat Aziz said that presently the students of the Khyber, Mohmand, Bajaur and all the frontier regions getting regularly without any discrepancy. “The students of Kurram, South and North Waziristan and Orakzai Agency would be given the scholarships from December 01, 2016,” he maintained.
