Street crimes

Author: Daily Times

Sir: I want to draw our government’s attention to a serious matter. We are living in the 21st century, which has shocked the world with its technological advances.

The evolution and spread of technology is beneficial for us in many ways but it also causes some difficulties. Karachi, the largest city of Pakistan and its economic hub, faces a number of problems like street crimes, especially mobile phone snatching, which has become very common. Mobile phones these days have become a basic need for everyone but regrettably, they have also become a reason for the loss of precious lives.

This street terrorism has destroyed the peace of our city and some politicians with their vested interests are also involved in it. The concerned authorities should take necessary measures to ensure peace in the city for the protection and security of citizens.
