Mango festival titled Mangoficient Treats attracts fruit lovers

Acclaimed destination of choice, Dolmen Mall celebrated the king of fruits, mango as a summer surprise for customers at all three malls in Clifton, Tariq Road and Hyderi. A tantalising event Mangoficient Treats attracted mango lovers in collaboration with College Of Tourism & Hotel Management (COTHM), Pinch & Co, Pearl Continental Hotel and popular social media foodie groups at different intervals throughout summer.

A number of engaging cooking classes were held by food enthusiasts, culinary experts and renowned chefs, each presenting unique seasonal mango delicacies. A significantly large in mall and online audience was captivated throughout July by Samar Hussain, CEO Pinch & Co through a demonstration of mango infused recipes, while June Head Chef, Sakura PC Karachi, recreated a signature Mango sushi at Dolmen Mall Clifton.

Amidst customers, media, socialites and social media influencers, over 200 culinary participants prepared sweet and savoury mango delights to be judged by experts from COTHM at Dolmen Mall, Tariq Road and Pearl Continental Hotel at Dolmen Mall, Clifton. Customers indulging in the sweet life at Dolmen availed free dessert treats prepared by Pearl Continental Hotels where Chef Noman, Executive Chef for PC Karachi, shared the joy of cooking with gusty enchantment, “Ingredients do not play a big role; it is how you use the ingredients to create unique flavours! Tasting and judging the dishes at Dolmen’s event I can safely say that our home cooks know exactly what they are doing!”
