RAWALPINDI: Director general of the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) revealed that Chief of Army Staff-designate Gen Qamar Bajwa does not have any social media account.
All Facebook, Twitter and other social media identities and accounts in his name were fake, he said in a tweet on Sunday. “Gen Qamar Bajwa, the COAS-designate, has zero presence on social media.”
The ISPR chief said that Gen Bajwa will take over the command from Gen Raheel Sharif at a ceremony to be held on Tuesday at GHQ.
On Monday (today), a ceremony will be held at Joint Staff Headquarters to welcome Gen Hayat, the new CJCSC.
The CJCSC will be presented a guard of honour by the contingent of tri-services.
