Author: Staff Report

Rawalpindi City Police Officer (CPO) Muhammad Faisal Rana, on Sunday, directed for an operation to be conducted against internet cafes, which are becoming avenues for immoral crimes. After the due operation, if any such internet cafe was noticed to be functional in any jurisdiction, the concerned SHO would face strict departmental accountability, the CPO added. He expressed these views while issuing directions to the police officers in his camp office. CPO Rana said that internet cafes were operating till late night, many of which developed into hot spots for criminal elements. Those involved with robberies were said to prefer these places to pass time.
