Pakistan squad unchanged for Australia Tests

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday announced a 16-member squad for the three-Test series against Australia Down Under starting from December 15 in Brisbane.

Chief Selector Inzamam-ul-Haq finalized the same squad for the Australian tour which is currently playing the two-Test series in New Zealand.

A press release issued by the PCB said, “The Team has been finalized by Chief Selector Mr. Inzamam ul Haq and the National Selection Committee after consultations with the team Head Coach and the Test captain.”

The first Test will be a pink-ball affair. Pakistan played their first-ever day-night Test earlier in the season against the West Indies in Dubai. Australia, however, has featured in two pink-ball Test matches, coming out victorious both times.
