KARACHI: The Pakistan Advertising Association (PAA) has won the bid to host Ad Asia 2019 in Lahore after 14th years.

PAA last hosted the Ad Asia in Lahore in 1989 with the theme ‘Together towards tomorrow’. The organising committee under the leadership of Javed Jabbar and SH Hashmi delivered one of the most iconic advertising congresses. Ad Asia 89 was visualised to be the largest ever international conference held in the history of Pakistan with an estimated attendance of about 350 overseas delegates from over 25 countries of Asia, North America and Europe and 400 delegates from Pakistan.

Pakistan Advertising Association Chairman and Chairman Ad Asia 2019 Syed Masood Hashmi, lead a delegation to attend the annual general body meeting of Asian Federation of Advertising Associations, (AFAA). The PAA recently became a member of AFAA and was invited to attend the meeting. Syed Masood Hashmi along with, Ad Asia 2019 Organising Committee Chairman Sarmad Ali would give a presentation on Ad Asia 2019 in the AFAA meeting.
