MULTAN: Young Doctors Association in Multan staged a protest and took out a rally on Tuesday against the central induction policy.
A large number of doctors attended the rally; protesters were holding placards having anti-government phrases. They are raising slogans against Punjab government and doctors said that the central induction policy by provincial government has been made to just unemployed the doctors.
‘The policy is preventing the doctors from gaining higher education’, they said
The doctors revealed, at least 250 graduates receive degree from Nishtar every year however only nine seats reserved for Fellowship of College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS).
They warned that if the policy is not eliminated, the doctors will be forced to expand their protest.
