TEVTA starts courses for transgender

SARGODHA: The district administration and Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) signed a memorandum of understanding to start courses for transgender people.

Speaking at the ceremony here on Wednesday, Commissioner Nadeem Mehboob said that courses of tailoring and beautician would start in Sargodha, Khushab and Sillanwali tehsils in the first phase.

TEVTA District Manager Zikria Muhammad Piracha said courses would start from the first week of December and six teachers will conduct courses free of cost, he added.
