Man claims lawmaker has grabbed his land

HYDERABAD: A resident of Umerkot, Faqir Ali Nawaz Rind has said that the PPP MPA, Ali Mardan Shah had allegedly occupied his agriculture land unlawfully and threatened to implicate him in false cases, if he attempts to claim the said land. Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, he said that Umerkot police, on the behest of the MPA had arrested his nephew Munawar Ali, without disclosing his whereabouts. He feared that his nephew might get killed in a fake encounter animated by the police and demanded of higher authorities to provide him security and save his nephew’s life.
