PIEDMC following principles good governance: chairman

Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company (PIEDMC) Chairman Shoaib Zahid Malik on Tuesday stated that the firm was strictly following good governance principles like transparency, accountability, responsibility and fairness.

He was speaking at a workshop on “Corporate Governance Leadership Skills Programme” concluded the other day.

The main agenda of the workshop was to further enhance corporate leadership by tackling financial challenges, enhancing continuous improvement in professional development and governance at PIEDMC.

During discussion sessions, different topics including corporate, finance, real estate, public private partnership and increase in capacity building were highlighted.

The Chairman PIEDMC, Shoaib Zahid Malik said that good governance always increases productivity and performance and the main objective of implementation of good governance is to optimise value and quality of products for stake holders in the long run.

The members of Board of Directors PIEDMC Mr. Yasir Bucha, Mr. Anees Khawaja, Mr. Ali Tariq, Mr. Shahid Tarer, Mr. Sajid Saleem Minhas, Mr. Schehram Sidiqi, Mr. Usman Khan and CEO PIEDMC Mr. Javed Ilyas also attended the workshop and participated in discussions & Q&A sessions.
