Three Lyari gangsters among seven suspects arrested

The Sindh Rangers on Monday claimed to have apprehended seven suspected criminals, including three Lyari gang war accused, from different areas of the city. According to a Rangers’ spokesman, the paramilitary soldiers carried out targeted raids in Baghdadi and Chakiwara areas and arrested three Lyari gang war members. The arrested suspects were stated to be involved in extortion, robberies, aerial firing and other criminal activities. During a crackdown on street criminals the Rangers detained two dacoits and a drug peddler. Rangers claimed that weapons, drugs and looted goods were also recovered from the possession of detainees.
