52 suspects arrested; 22 bikes impounded

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police along with Pakistan Rangers and other security agencies on Friday conducted search operation in various areas of Sabzi Mandi and Industrial Area police stations and arrested 52 suspects, a police spokesman said.

According to details, officers/officials of Islamabad Police, Pak Rangers and other security agencies conducted search operation in various areas of Industrial Area and Sabzi Mandi police stations. The nabbed suspects have been shifted to relevant police stations and further investigation is underway.

Meanwhile, 22 bikes were also impounded having no documents. Police spokesman said the purpose of this search operation is to ensure high vigilance in the city and every effort will be made to ensure protection to the lives and property of citizens.

He also appealed the citizens to remain vigilant and inform police in case of any suspicious activity around them.
