IHC questions former CJP over bulletproof car

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC), on Friday, ordered to present the government vehicle being used by former chief justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Chaudhry on December 8.

Justice Shaukat Siddique inquired about the vehicle and said that once the order was annulled, the car should have been returned. However, the judge barred both the counsels from presenting any further arguments till the next hearing -on December 8.

The ex-CJP was given a bulletproof government vehicle even after his retirement, which several lawmakers objected.
