Government eager to revive film industry in the country– Marriyum Aurangzeb

Karachi: Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said that government is ready to provide every possible assistance to revive film industry in the country.
She was addressing the inaugural ceremony of a two-day National Production and Entertainment Trade Conference .The minister announced also sought suggestions from experienced showbiz personalities regarding ways to revive Pakistan Television and Radio Pakistan
She further added that the Information Ministry will act as a bridge between government and entertainment industry and soon the national artists convention will be held in Islamabad.
The conference is a two day event with 18 sessions which will be attended and addressed by renowned personalities of electronic, print and digital media.

The conference is first of its kind event thus gives an opportunity for industry professionals for networking and eventually coming up with new ideas and innovations. The event is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Information, and Ministry of Culture.
