Calling national development teams

Author: Naseem Javed

National development focus within any nation is the most critical issue to ensure grassroots prosperity and to avoid restless citizenry. All over the world and as just witnessed at G20 meeting in Japan, nations should avoid declaring trade-wars on other countries and rather first look inside their own talent base and declare skills-wars on their own citizenry to improve their performance and capability to stand up to global age trading challenges.

Internal wars on incompetency; In a hyper-accelerated world, understanding incompetency of working masses is an art; identification of this critical void is a new science, mobilization of citizenry to regain new skills is courage while bold and open national debates to face these challenges are signs of true and real global-age leadership. This discussion is also about well-trodden crossroads; where universities of the world failed the students, ask millions of indebted MBAs, this is where government bureaucracies failed the citizenry ask billions of taxpayers, and this is where conflict-centric agenda stripped naked the global populace of any intelligent dialogue and this is also where divisive politics and populace thinking are finding fertile grounds.

The global exportability performance is more about internal skills-wars; global-age-skilled-nations will have distinct superiority of entrepreneurial performance over seek-and-destroy-soldiered-nations.

Today’s work reality: physical-work is being replaced by smart-work; smart-work is being replaced by smarter-machines. The master of robots will be the smart unlearners, while the slaves of robots will be the deniers of change.

The skills gap crisis is a new dark cloud, spreading around the world. Current confusion of trade wars, Brexit, EU, India and pending elections in Canada and the USA are all pointing to new internal battlefields for politicians, small-medium-size-businesses and general public

Understanding the lifelong learning crisis:Historically, how population rich nations, once considered poor countries feeding the hungry mouths, compared to well off knowledge-rich nations, today have become mighty forces as the same massive populations quickly became the armies of new entrepreneurs geared with new technology and new tools. Today, nations have a Ministry solely focused and dedicated to the robotization or the advancements of lifelong learning and global age skills. Normally trapped with labor unions and basic HR issues or procedural trade policies most Ministries of Trade, Labor, Commerce or Education are as academic and old fashioned in approach as the old institutes they serve. Unskilled-nations will have serious disadvantages on winning trade-wars while skilled nations will shine with respect while creating high demands for their goods and services all over the world.

The tragedy at grassroots level; developed nations which have slowly failed their middle-class living and continued absence of creating grassroots prosperity are now faced with a new salvage operation. Apainful overhaul of once high skilled masses now outdated but in desperate need of replacements to get fitted with global age capabilities. Emerging nations coming out from massive grassroots poverty are upbeat; anxious, happy and upwardly mobile transforming their citizenry for new undiscovered frontiers with whatever means they can afford to advance.

The arch of competency; Smart nations upliftingmasses on skills now need major audits and realignments on already immensely wasted budgetsand reprioritizing so they can produce high value exportability balanced with imports and manage local grassroots prosperity.Global exportability is a war of skills on high quality production and not a war of imposing policies to cover-up internal incompetency. World’s best produced goods and services have no such issues as they are always in demands. National mobilization of entrepreneurialism is an advanced staged ‘national development strategy’ designed for emerging economies ready for smart deployments.

The skills gap crisis is a new dark cloud, spreading around the world. Current confusion of trade wars, Brexit, EU, India and pending elections in Canada and the USA are all pointing to new internal battlefields for politicians, small-medium-size-businesses and general public.

Silence of incompetency: corruption is very bad and bureaucracy is too; but incompetency is worst as it breads the two.To detect incompetency do not look for the crazy mad drunk elephant in the room rather a silent strangle of an anaconda, choking all dialogue but to break loose create intelligent discussions, authoritative debates and engage all on new enlightenments, as deep silence on such issues is the proof of lingering incompetency. Explore boldly and create national attitude towards performance.
