ISLAMABAD: Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDC) Managing Director Zahid Mir handed in his resignation on Monday.
Mir was under investigation by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and his name was placed on the Exit Control List (ECL).
The NAB inquiry against him relates to the use of CSR Funds and his appointment as Chief Operating Officer. Mir’s name was also put on ECL on the request of the anti-graft body.
OGDC’s Board of Directors have accepted Mir’s resignation and his final day as MD will be July 31.
