12 suspected militants killed in airstrikes

KHYBER AGENCY: At least 12 suspected militants were killed and scores of others sustained injuries in air strikes carried out by the jet fighters in Rajgal and Koki Khel area of Jamrud Tehsil on Sunday, official sources said.

Security sources said warplanes targeted suspected hideouts of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the Laskar-e-Islam (LI) at the Pak-Afghan border area in Tirah Valley.

They said at least 12 suspected militants were killed and several others sustained injuries in bombardments. Loads of militants’ sanctuaries were also destroyed in the air strikes, added sources.
