Two gunned down in Mardan attack

MARDAN: At least two persons were shot dead by unidentified armed men riding a motorcycle in Lond Khor area of Mardan.

The incident took place in Lond Khor area where two persons, hailing from Mianwali, were returning after attending a wedding ceremony when unidentified persons intercepted them and opened indiscriminate firing on them. They sustained bullet wounds and succumbed to their injuries, local police said.

Both the victims were relatives, police added. The bodies were handed over to the victims’ families for burial after performing the medico-legal formalities. The police have started registered a case and have started an investigation.

Two motorcyclists killed: Two motorcyclists were killed when they were returning from a wedding party to their home.

According to details, unknown armed men opened firing at Abid and Saddam Hussain at Lund Khwar area of the district at midnight of Saturday and Sunday and killed both on the spot. Police have registered the case and have started an investigation.

13-year-old boy missing in Landi Kotal: A 13-year-old boy went missing from Landikotal Khyber Agency, family sources said on Sunday. The boy identified as Amjad, son of Khanabaz Mohammad, resident of Loy Shalman, has been missing from Landikotal bazaar for the last one week, Zahid his cousin told Daily Times.

He said that Amjad had come to Landikotal bazaar for shopping with his uncle.
