The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Friday granted an interim bail to former Sindh home minister Suhail Anwar Siyal until August 6 in a case pertaining to assets beyond means.

Fearing arrest, the former minister approached the SHC, which heard his interim bail plea. The court directed Siyal to submit a surety bond to the tune of Rs 1 million.

The court issued a notice to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for August 6 for submitting its reply and directed the former minister to cooperate with the NAB in the investigation.
