This was said by Medical Superintendent Lady Wilingdon Hospital Dr Ziaullah Cheema in a meeting of administrative doctors held in connection with improving administration of the hospital on Sunday. He said doctors; nurses and paramedics should play their role with dedication and devotion for better care of patients. On this occasion, AMS, DMS, nursing administration and sanitary inspectors were also present. He said violation of discipline and misbehaviour of staff with patients would not be tolerated at any cast. The MS said quality of ongoing development projects would never be compromised and in case of delay, contractor concerned would be blacklisted. Sources said that in the wake of rise in number of complaints against misbehaviour of hospital staff with patients and their attendants, the MS has warned the hospital staff to mend their ways.  Earlier, several complaints were written to the Health Department against the hospital administration citing misbehaviour and lack of facilities at the hospital. Sources said that doctors and other staff had also staged a protest against hospital administration for not providing medical equipment and repair the out of order machineries.
