Litchfield ladies confront life in and out of prison in new ‘Orange Is the New Black’ trailer

Author:

The ladies of Litchfield prison try to carve out the best possible future they can in the trailer for the final season of ‘Orange Is the New Black’, which premieres July 26, 2019 on Netflix. Much of the clip focuses on Piper as she tries to adjust to life outside of prison. The trailer finds her dealing with the mundane day-to-day of office life and questionable comments about her ex-con status, all while her partner Alex remains locked up. The trailer also teases the goings-on inside the maximum security prison: Taystee grapples with the life sentence she received after being wrongfully convicted of killing a corrections officer during a prison riot, while Gloria and her kitchen staff uncover PolyCon Corrections’ unnerving new profit stream.
