ISLAMABAD:-Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Bajwa held a meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at PM House today.
The situation on the Line of Control (LoC), operation Zarb-e-Azb and issues related to national security were discussed in the meeting.
The Army Chief also visited President Mamnoon Hussain at the President House. The President congratulated Qamar Javed Bajwa on assuming the command of Pakistan Army.
The president said that it is pivotal for both the civil and military leadership to remain on same page in order to implement National Action Plan (NAP).
He further added that operation Zarb-e-Azb should continue until complete peace and security in the country.
The Army Chief said the armed forces will live up to the expectations of the people for defense of the country.
