MUMBAI: Deepika Padukone, who is all set to make a Hollywood debut in ‘xXx – Return of the Xander Cage’ has already started to look for other Hollywood projects.
According to the latest buzz, the ‘Piku’ star is looking out for good scripts for producing a movie, a report from BollywoodLife.com, originally published in DNA stated.
A source close to the actress revealed the news, “Deepika has been keen to start her own production house. She is on top of her game at the moment and wants to enter into film production. Deepika is reading scripts and will only make the big announcement when she finds the perfect debut venture. We can’t wait for the official announcement”, as quoted in BollywoodLife.com.
The film that Deepika is keen to produce will probably be the remake of Angelina Jolie starrer ‘Lara Croft’.
Apart from Deepika, actresses like Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Juhi Chawla and Dia Mirza have also ventured into film productions.
