Dolphin Force to be deployed in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: The IG Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad Sukaira, has ordered the deployment of a Dolphin Force (DF) in Rawalpindi on the pattern of Lahore.

Through a circular, police personnel working all over the district, have been given a chance to be inducted in the DF.

In the first phase the DF will be inducted in rural areas. 154 personnel have been decided to be appointed in the rural areas.

A decision has been taken to select these 154 personnel from the serving police personnel in the district. Police personnel having with ages ranging between 18 to 24 years and with the educational qualification of FA and a height of 5 feet 9 inches will be selected into this force. The force in Rawalpindi will work with one SP, 3 DSPs and 12 inspectors. A refresher course will also be organised.
