LAHORE: A ceremony was held at Miani Sahib Graveyard on the martyrdom anniversary of Major Shabbir Sharif who laid down his life while defending the country, 46 years ago in the 1971 war.
Former Army Chief, General (r) Raheel Sharif along with his family attended the ceremony and laid floral wreath and offered Fateha on the Mazar of the decorated army officer.
