KARACHI: Supreme Court (SC) is being requested by Transparency International (TI) to ban amnesty scheme approved for the Real Estate sector recently.
In a letter written by TI to SC, it was said that court should consider the new income tax amendment act of 2016 and subsequently issue proper orders to the relevant authorities so that this and other various amnesty schemes should stand abolished.
It was also stated in the letter that ban be slapped on this scheme.
