PPP Gujranwala Information Secretary Sagher Butt said that the present era was the darkest period in Pakistan’s history. “Opposition parties are being politically targeted. The new budget has made the life of people very difficult. In addition, the government has been unable to sustain the economy even after increasing the prices of electricity, gas and oil,” he said.
He said that the government was taking huge loans. “Unelected people are now running the government. The PPP and other opposition parties will protest against the federal budget,” he said.
