Lt Gen Shahid Baig Mirza instated as Corps Commander Karachi

RAWALPINDI/KARACHI: Lieutenant General Shahid Baig Mirza has been appointed as Corps Commander Karachi, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said Wednesday.

Gen Mirza presently serves as the Military Secretary at the General Head Quarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi. He is expected to soon take charge of as commander of Karachi corps.

Meanwhile, Lieutenant General Ghayur Mehmood has been instated as the new Military Secretary, in place of Gen’s Mirza.

Gen Mehmood currently serves as Chief of Logistic Staff at the GHQ.
