Minister directs action against illegal dentists

Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid has directed to take stern action against illegal dentists in the province. She passed this direction while chairing the first International Dental Conference at University of Health Sciences. The chief guest Dr. Javaid Akram, Dr. Sarah, senior doctors, surgeons, faculty members and people from different walks of life participated in the conference. Dr. Sarah briefed about the importance of the conference. Participants of the conference appreciated Minister Health Dr. Yasmin Rashid and Punjab government to enhance budget of Health Department.

Dr. Yasmin Rashid said while addressing the participants of the conference that there is significant importance of research in every health sector. Punjab government has taken historical initiatives to bring real change in government hospitals of Punjab. Last corrupt government just increased its assets and did not complete any developmental project. She further said that participants especially medical students will seek knowledge through such workshops. Data of dental patients should be collected from all Punjab. She also appreciated administration to arrange such conference.
