Introduced by Senator Khushbakht Shujat, this Bill, will go a long way in improving postal services in Pakistan. Senator Khushbakht Shujat, stressed the need for the government and its institutions to be on one page for Pakistan to progress. She hoped that this Bill is passed without any glitches in Senate and National Assembly.
Senator Mirza Muhammad Afridi, who was chairing the meeting today in place of Senator Khusbakht Shujat, said that every government agency must be treated as private business for it to prosper.
Secretary, Ministry of Postal Services, Mr. Hamid Haroon was of the view that in order to move ahead it is crucial that all stakeholders are on board. Chaired by Senator Mirza Muhammad Afridi, the meeting was attended by Senator Anwar Lal Dean, Senator Khushbakht Shujat and senior officers of the Ministry of Postal Services along with all concerned.
