Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan Sunday said that meeting between the convicted princess of the throne of Sharif family and the crown prince of state of Zardaris at Raiwind palace has no link with the democracy.

Reacting to the meeting of Bilawal Zardari and Maryam Safdar, she expressed the hope that for satisfaction of courts, the two will give a clear agenda for bringing back absconding brothers of Maryam and other Sharif family members and inform the nation about it.

In a tweet, Dr Firdous said the nation is fully aware of the harsh reality that both PML-N and PPP have started the process of transferring politics and property to their next generations and this gathering is a step towards achievement of this goal. She lamented that the soul of Benazir Bhutto must be perturbed as she had always challenged the Lahore throne. “She used to take along her young Bilawal while she used to meet her husband in jail, who was arrested on the directives of Sharifs, but now the same son has reached Raiwind to save his father’s corruption,” she concluded.

Separately, Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry slammed the meeting between PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. “The leaders of the poor reached the Kingdom (Jati Umra) by private jets and luxury cars. The leaders of a poor nation after sitting at stylish furniture were greeted with special France water,” he tweeted.
