KARACHI: Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) Country Director Osamu Hisaki said that Pakistan was on the top among 20 Asian countries for the Japanese Investors. For decades Japanese investors’ prime focus was automobile sector but now they were keen to invest in fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) which was a good sign.

Japan Business Exhibition, 2016 gets great response. As large number of high profile personalities from business and media came to witness the high quality and world class Japanese products on the show. Japanese companies related to, pharmaceuticals, construction, automobiles, industrial machinery, textile, paint and big business groups presenting Japanese products in various sector of Pakistan were there to show showcase their goods.

Professionals from different business sectors showed great interest in Japanese cars and motorbikes, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, steel, machinery, paints, along with many other Japanese products. The JETRO booth was also the centre of attraction attention. There was a keen interest to know about Japanese products and Japanese market opportunities for Pakistani brands.

JETRO Country Director Osamu Hisaki said that Pakistan is a high potential market for FMCG among other economic sectors. Japanese companies were eager to expand business in Pakistani market according to the JETRO Survey.

Top Management from different companies and corporate sector visited the exhibition and had useful business meetings during the day. Many companies took advantage of this positive platform and expected to head towards business deals to boost their business.
