PESHAWAR: Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Asad Qasier and Provincial Minister for Health Shehram Khan Tarakai visited the newly constructed Gajju Khan Medical College Swabi on Saturday.
The Speaker said that soon inauguration ceremony of the college will be held to open the medical college. The KP Government has taken keen interest to build medical colleges in the province. The Speaker who belongs to the same district where medical college is being constructed, further said that when Pakistan Tehrek-e-Insaf (PTI) assumed power in KP the completion of certain vital projects was main concern of PTI led Government in the province. “We don’t believe on political victimization by lagging projects initiated by the former governments”, he said, adding that main objective of government is to facilitate the people in order to provide them modern education and better health care opportunities. The Senior Minister for Health and Information Technology Shahram Tarakai said on the occasion that PTI led Provincial Government took stance against corruption in the projects of previous governments. The money used for projects in past was much bigger that the work on the ground, he was amazed, he added. “Our government show true face in achieving everlasting goals by establishing public institutions without any involvement of corruption or extra use of powers”, he added. The Health Minister further said that provincial government will use all the resources for bringing life changing projects to be completed in different areas of KP province. He praised the steps which are being taken by provincial government to complete the construction of Gajju Khan Medical College Swabi in record time.
