PIA restarts flights to Barcelona after two years

Author: PPI

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Sunday resumed its flights to Barcelona – after a gap of nearly two years.

According to PIA spokesperson, the first flight left for the Spanish city via Paris from Benazir Bhutto International Airport on Sunday morning.

The airlines will operate two weekly flights to Barcelona – one each from Islamabad and Lahore – on Sundays and Tuesdays.

“Due to the tragic December 7 incident, all festivities planned earlier for the flight’s launch have been cancelled,” the spokesperson said.
