TDPs’ return to North Waziristan begins tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: The Temporarily Displaced Persons’ (TDPs) return to Mir Ali Tehsil of North Waziristan Agency will begin from tomorrow.
According to a report citing the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) Secretariat, at least 1,350 displaced families of Patsai Killi area will return to their native homes within four days.
The political administration has directed all the returning families to reach the repatriation point in Bannu – on their specified days and time as each returning family will be provided with Rs 35,000 along with six months ration. According to FATA’s political administration, at least 63,000 displaced families have been returned back to their native homes in North Waziristan Agency.
