ASI gunned down in Peshawar

Unidentified armed persons shot down an assistant sub-inspector (ASI) in Peshawar on Monday. According to police, the incident took place in Khazana area of the provincial capital, when ASI Falak Sher was on his way home after leaving the office. The assailants opened fire on him and he died on the spot, while the attackers managed to escape from the scene, police said. Police reached the crime scene and shifted the body to the hospital of an autopsy, and started a search operation in the area for the arrest of the assailants.
