MOSCOW: The Kremlin claimed that President Vladimir Putin had ‘good’ ties with United States (US) President-elect Donald Trump’s pick for secretary of state, ExxonMobil chief Rex Tillerson.

“He is a very solid figure and the Russian representatives – not just the president – have good relations with Tillerson,” Putin’s top foreign policy aide Yury Ushakov told journalists on Tuesday, adding that Tillerson was a professional in his field.
