Delicious and nutritious

Islamabad is nestled against the backdrop of the Margalla Hills. It is a modern, planned city with wide tree lined streets, large houses, elegant public buildings, mouth-watering food spots and well-organised bazaars.

To me, living in Islamabad feels like living in a dream as everything seems so unreal, yet true. For the people of Islamabad, variety of good food matters a lot, as they love to try and explore different café and restaurants. Most of the people in this city love to have continental food rather going for conventional ones.

For these restaurants, one has to dress up well to have a nice meal under dim lights and soft music. That’s right! Islamabad is the latest city to be struck by this new concept of theme-based eateries

Recently, there has been a wave of new eateries and cafes springing up in Islamabad but these places are not like the ones you might have seen before.

For these restaurants, one has to dress up well to have a nice meal under dim lights and soft music. That’s right! Islamabad is the latest city to be struck by this new concept of theme-based eateries.

Recently, I also had a chance to visit the Butcher’s Café & Grill located in F-6, which is an international food chain launched in Pakistan for the first time. Within this café one can find delicious menu of juicy, succulent steaks along with a wide range of breakfast options, seafood, salads, burgers and much served with sides of laughter filled conversations and unforgettable moments. Truly speaking, on my visit I was already making mental notes on which dishes to order “next time”. Seriously it’s sad that I haven’t got full but in heads as I wanted to try their every single dish. However, eating and sitting within the premises of this cafe will take you out of the world.

While going inside the cafe one can feel the music but more than the sound of music, it’s the aroma of steaks and fresh salads which are in-house specialty that entices you up. TBCG invites visitors into a homely and relaxing ambiance, where guests can enjoy their food and drinks while admiring the exquisite art on the walls or reading one of the books from the cafe’s bookshelf.

I tried the Tenderloin Beef Steak which was kept at a medium well temperature. The moment the first bite was taken, the softness and delicate flavour felt heavenly. It was super juicy and had a perfect taste. The steak was served with three different servings with mashed potatoes and a bun. It was simply yummy. The hot molten lava was something out of the world as the liquid chocolate had a perfect amount on sweetness in it.

Butcher’s Café & Grill owner Ehtasham Malik, while talking exclusively to Daily Times, said, “We are providing people the real taste of steaks as we are the pioneers in aged meat steaks and are serving seven different cuts for the first time in Pakistan. As this process helps develops a taste in the meat itself rather than having to get the help of sauces to make the steak flavourful.”

Last but not the least great service and casual ambiance, I would recommend for magnificent steaks. For steak connoisseurs simply you’ll love the experience.

However, if you’re looking for a place serving steaks in affordable rates, this is the place to go to. Visit this classy restaurant to try well-executed fine dining in Islamabad, including delicacies like of grilled chicken fillet with sauces and beef steak.

My rating is 9/10 for taste, 9/10 in service, 8/10 in ambience, 8/10 in value for money and 9/10 in overall experience.
