ISLAMABAD: Leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N) stand accused of looting millions of rupees from innocent people fraudulently.
According to sources available with Daily Times, UK based PML-N leader Zubair Gull plundered Rs 2.7million from the Assistant of Civil Secretariat Shamshad Rana, resident of Lahore, on the promise to rid him from the clutches of NAB.
Shamshad Rana had been working in Civil Secretariat Lahore and was arrested by NAB in a case seven years ago, but he had succeeded in getting bail. Asif Rana, brother-in-law of Shamshad contacted Zubair Gul and gave him 2.7million rupees, but Zubair Gul disappeared.

When Asif Rana demanded his money back from Zubair Gul, he refused. Asif Rana has sent an application to the federal Ombudsman complaint cell and overseas Pakistanis Foundation in this regard.

Shamshad Rana told Daily Times that he was an employee in Civil Secretariat Lahore, adding that NAB arrested him and sent him to jail but he was released on bail last month. Shamshad Rana has appealed to the concerned authorities to provide him justice and help him get his money back.

It has been learnt that Zubair Gul was taking bribes in the name of NAB and making claims that he had personal relations with some NAB officer, a matter that deserves a great deal more attention than it’s currently getting.
