Mardan, Chitral to get cancer hospitals

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak on Wednesday announced the Construction of Cancer Hospitals in Mardan and Chitral.

Khattak said that the cancer hospitals at DI Khan and Abbottabad will be extended while steps will be taken to select sites for the establishment of cancer hospitals in other regions of KP Province. He said that these hospitals would be established with Provincial resources. The main purpose is to distribute the burden of patients and moderate the facilities according advancement in the cure and precautions taken for eliminating the threat of Cancer.

The KP Chief Secretary Abid Majeed also attended the meeting along with other distinguish office bearers. He said that KP government taken steps to provide basic health facilities for the treatment of cancer.
