KARACHI: After the heavy rains received a couple of days ago the citizens are still facing disorder of the civic infrastructure of metropolis, immense overflow with accumulated water disrupting routine life in Karachi.

Rain simply beautifies the atmosphere around us. The sound and smell of rain changes everyone, the same politicians taking advantage of rain have started a blame game to make each other responsible.

When it comes to working for Karachi the politicians start blaming each other and initiate notifying the boundaries and limitations.

The blame game started while Waqar Mehdi General Secretary PPP Sindh commented that the recent rain fall has been the closure of claims the Mayor had professed. He added that despite granting funds the Mayor is more involved in politics instead of doing work.

On the other hand MQM leaders and elected chairman were on the road and they said that “It’s not about the photo session, It’s all about passion & determination” even though water and sewerage department is not in our charge despite that we are working to control it with limited sources and machinery. CM Sindh is responsible for all these inconvenience of the city .

Dr Arshad Vohra and Faisal Subzwari were seen at many places monitoring the situation and damage caused by rain. Vohra said that Sindh government is not lending a hand to us in restructuring the city.

While talking to media Raza Haroon General Secretary PSP, said that both political parties have disclosed their failure before the people. It was even announced and warned many times on Media but no arrangements were made to face the challenges both the sindh government nor local government did any thing before the rain and now both are blaming each other and not taking responsibilities.

While Karachities are asking the Government what does the Karachi’s local government do all year round when its only job is to ensure efficient administration in the City? People say it is the negligence of Sindh government and civilian departments which has made rain a curse and source of inconvenience for them.

Many of people have said that it’s a time that the elected district representatives and members of district administration to show their efficiency in draining out the rainwater from their respective mandated constituencies and areas. According to Citizens they don’t have any concern with this blame-game of whoever has rights or authority. Their only demand is to work to bring life as per routine.
