Sir: In this year the spell of heat-wave has stricken government yet not taken any preventive measure for the people.
According to detail, in this heat wave spell, temperature has observed between 37C to 50.2C in upper and lower belt of Sindh province.
According to PDMA, Sindh that due to heatstroke people may suffer from headaches, dizziness, intense thirst, nausea and vomiting, muscle weakness or cramps, hot, red eyes and dry skin, a sudden rise in temperature as well semi-consciousness.
Government should take preventive measures like ask people to drink plenty of water, eat light and regular meals, postpone outdoor activities, maximize your stay home and minimize your exposure to the sun and extreme temperature changes. Wear loose-fitting, lightweight and light-colored clothes to cover as much skin as possible, avoid dark colors cloths, protect face and head by wearing a scarf or wide-brimmed hat) through Radio, cable channels, pasting pictorial IEC materials at various public places, through word of mouth, through social media etc.
