Benazir Bhutto Hospital elevator out of order

RAWALPINDI: An out-of-order elevator at the out-patient department (OPD) of the Benazir Bhutto Hospital is causing problems for patients and their attendants.

According to details, the lift became dysfunctional two years ago due to a technical fault.

It has not been repaired yet. This has become a source of problems for patients and their attendants in reaching the OPD, the gynecology ward and other laboratories for check up as they are located in the upper part of central building.

Millions of rupees are being provided as development funds to the hospital annually. However, the lift has not been repaired yet. People have urged the hospital management to ensure early repair of the elevator.
