martyrs remembered in Larkana

LARKANA: A program was organized in Larkana Press Club here on Friday in memory of Army Public School (APS) martyrs. SSP Larkana Kamran Nawaz, Journalists, students and teachers attended the program. SSP while addressing the participants said that on 16th December two major incidents had occurred in Pakistan which include the tragedy of former East Pakistan in 1971 and APS carnage, Peshawar, in which 140 innocent students & their teachers were martyred in 2014 by the terrorists. He said that the sacrifices rendered by the APS students will always be remembered and this day will always force us to fight against terrorism till it is eliminated from the country. Kamran Nawaz said that these terrorists were neither Muslims nor human beings, in fact, he added, they had no religion as well. He said that due to CPEC project world is watching Pakistan and enemies of the country do not want to see this beneficial project meet with great success adding but army, police and other law enforcement agencies will defeat their nefarious designs with full force. Larkana District Council Chairman Khan Muhammad Sangroo said that it was a pre-planned conspiracy of the terrorists & their masters to target little students adding that he salute the bravery of mothers who continue to send their loved ones to the same school to get education even today. Floral wreaths were placed by all the participants in remembrance of the students and teachers who lost their lives two years back.Students of Sambara School presented tableaus on the occasion depicting the conditions that prevailed at the time of the tragic incident. Large number of people participated in the program belonging to all walks of life.
