Pakistani drama ‘Suno Chanda 2’ becomes one of the most-watched shows in UK
According Biz Asia, a UK-based entertainment website, the second season of ‘Suno Chanda’, ‘Suno Chanda 2’ has topped the list of the five most-watched shows in the UK.
This is the only Pakistani drama in the top five list; the rest are all Indian content.
According to their website, ‘Suno Chanda’ got record high ratings with 84,600 viewers on Monday.
This was followed by ‘Bharam’ with 33,300 viewers and ‘Siraat-e-Mustaqeem’ with 23,900 viewers.
On Tuesday, it was listed at #4.
‘Suno Chanda 2’ is a 2019 Pakistani romantic comedy series directed by Ahson Talish and produced by Momina Duraid. It is a sequel to the 2018 series ‘Suno Chanda’.
Farhan Saeed and Iqra Aziz reprise their roles as Arsal and Ajiya respectively in the sequel. The chemistry, dialogues and acting of the cast is what catches the attention of the viewers and makes it a hit during Ramazan.
