Sewage runs free on Dadu roads

DADU: The sewerage system collapsed in Dadu city and almost every roads is inundated with sewage, causing problems of the residents.

The annoyed citizens have demanded Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to take action against TMA- Taluka Municipal Administration and district administration for not improving the drainage system and municipal services.

Different areas of the city, Gharibabad Mohalla, Ward No: 17, 18,21,3, of workshop and Pir Bux Colony in union council No:4, Jagatabad Mohalla, Mazdoorabad, Shahani Mohalla, Mallah Chowak Chhano Shahabad, Marikhpur Mohallas, Shahbaz colony and DC colony have no proper sanitation system.

Not in residential areas, but also in commercial areas and even near the government offices such as Mukhtiarkar office, Dadu Press Club, station road, old Bus Stand are overflowed by the sewerage.

Zahid Hussain Chandio, a resident of ward No: 17 near girls collage Dadu said that owing to filth and garbage’s were stored in the street and officials of TMA are not ready to pick this heaps of filth and garbage’s which causes spread of fatal diseases among
children.

AIP- Awami Ittehad Party worker, resident of Pir Bux Colony, Noor Mohammah Solangi said that on a political base, the residents of this area were neglected by TMA officials. He said that drainage water was over flowing on the roads and Streets.

Zamir Ahmed Lashari resident of workshop area said that it was 20 million rupees monthly budget of TMA Dadu but funds were misused and drainage of city was not improved, He said that residents had complained to D.C Dadu in written but D.C Dadu had not paid attention to clean the roads before main gate of EidGah and this area.
